The 50th Anniversary of the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC 2025) will be held in Boston from June 8 – 14, 2025. ICMC 2025 will be collaboratively hosted by five institutions, and will include a performance at MIT’s Edward and Joyce Linde Music Building.

The theme of ICMC BOSTON 2025 is Curiosity, Play, Innovation – A 50th Anniversary Celebration of Creativity in Music, Science and Technology. This theme is an homage to the working spirit of David Wessel (1942-2014), who organized the inaugural ICMC at Michigan State University in 1974.
